  Principal Mr. Worrell is the President & CEO of Worrell, Inc., a Minneapolis-based product development firm dedicated to helping its clients gain a powerful competitive advantage through innovative design solutions that satisfy real customer needs. The firm's comprehensive capabilities include customer research and product definition, industrial design, engineering, user interface design, and branding. Since its foundation in 1976, Worrell has delivered award-winning product development for Fortune 100 companies and venture start-ups alike. As the inventor of CensysŪ, a proprietary customer research process that projects customer behavior and streamlines product-to-market, Mr. Worrell has created a unique competitive advantage for his firm. He has also invented and acquired software and methodologies that focus the design process, including OnTaskŪ, The DesignBrand Strategy and Design-Path. Throughout his career Mr. Worrell and his company have been honored with numerous design awards. He has also been an IDSA National Board Member and was selected as a 1990 Who's Who in the Midwest. Mr. Worrell is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer on design and innovation as well as a frequent contributor of articles in numerous publications. He served on the 2004 AAMI committee on design and human factors and was named one of the 100 notable people in the medical device industry in 2004. In addition Mr. Worrell is named in over 30 patents. Mr. Worrell has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design from Purdue University and holds a provisional QFD Black Belt from the QFD Institute.
