John Seaberg has over 30 years of experience in the medical technology industry. He has been a founder, entrepreneur, and senior executive in a Fortune 500 company managing over $1 billion in sales. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, media and advertising strategies, brand management, regulatory approval, reimbursement, product development, and sales management. John has worked extensively with surgeons and physicians, has observed many surgeries, and understands the complex healthcare payment systems that enable sales.
John is currently Chairman and CEO of MValve Inc, a client company of Pelegrin Partners. MValve is an early stage company dedicated to developing products for heart valve repair. Prior to joining MValve, John was employed by Cherry Tree Companies, an investment-banking firm, where he specialized in the medical device and healthcare industry.
John joined Guidant Corp in 1996 and served in numerous sales and marketing roles during his ten years there. His first Guidant assignment was Director of Bradycardia Marketing in the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) unit. He then went on to:

- Vice President of Sales - Endovascular Solutions
- Vice President of Sales - Cardiac Rhythm Management
In his last role in Cardiac Rhythm Management, John managed a field sales team of over 600 people including 5 directors, 42 regional sales managers and over $1 billion in revenue.
John was a co-founder of ACIST Medical and served on its board of directors through 1998. He was the President and CEO for its first five years and transitioned the company to new managers in 1996. ACIST manufactures and distributes power injection technologies for coronary angiography. The company raised $30,000,000 in venture capital prior to its eventual sale to Bracco, Inc. for in excess of $100,000,000.
He was the founder and CEO of Seaberg Medical — a regional distributor of implantable cardiovascular devices. He worked with a wide array of suppliers of medical devices and sold directly to doctors and hospitals throughout the upper Midwest.
John received a BA in Speech Communications, University of Minnesota and an MBA from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.
